Biography
In 2014, Mrs. Lacerda and her family moved to Pennsylvania from Maryland. After serving 13 wonderful years as a photographer in the U.S. Air Force, she left the military to pursue her teaching certificate in Secondary English. Although she has lived and traveled to various places in the U.S. and overseas, PA is now her family's permanent home.
Mrs. Lacerda received her bachelor's degree in communications with a concentration in journalism and a minor in English from University of Maryland University College. She is currently attending Penn State Harrisburg to earn her master's degree in literacy education.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, photography, BMX racing, and spending time with her husband, David, and their three young children, Bella, Brooke, and Nico.
