Meet Mrs. Poulin!

Hello!  My name is Katie Poulin and this is my 7th year here at Red Lion Area Junior High School.  I am an 8th grade learning support teacher and support my students in science, math, and English classes.

 

I was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. I spent ten years living in Portland Maine where I worked in healthcare.  In 2009, I moved to Pennsylvania with my family and began my career in education. I went back to school earning a duel certification in elementary education (grades preK -4) and in special education.  I obtained my special education teaching certificate and Master's degree in Special Education from Messiah University.

 

In addition to being a Red Lion teacher, I am also a Red Lion parent.  I have two daughters in their junior and senior years at the high school. I have enjoyed watching my kids and their friends grow up in this community.  When I am not at school, you can find me on the HS football field supporting the Marching Lions or on the softball field supporting the Lady Lions.
