Mr. Daniel Longnecker

My name is Dan Longnecker and I am in year 7 of my professional teaching career. I started my educational journey in the Red Lion Area School District graduating in 2014. From here I traveled to West Chester University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as Special Education pk-8. From West Chester I accepted my first teaching job in Manheim Township School District and spent my first year there. I then had the pleasure of coming full circle and returning to Red Lion Area School District for the past 5 years. I am entering year 1 of teaching 7th grade science and could not be more amped for some new challenges and memories. 

 

If I am not enjoying my time in the classroom you can find me doing anything physically active, outdoors, or traveling. I spend most of my time playing basketball, soccer, pickleball, volleyball, lifting weights, or running. I enjoy motorcycle rides, camping, bonfires, hunting, tubing, and hiking when I am out in nature. My most recent travel adventure was to Punta Cana over the summer break.
