Mrs. Rednak- Emotional Support

Mrs. Rednak was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Red Lion, Pennsylvania as an infant. Mrs. Rednak has lived in Red Lion her entire life. She married her husband Scott, a Red Lion graduate, in 2013. They have two amazing sons, Cameron and Jameson. 
 
For fun, Mrs. Rednak enjoys spending time at Lake Wallenpaupack with her family, teaching her boys how to Kayak and being out on the boat. Mrs. Rednak also enjoys playing and coaching basketball and learning the new sport of pickleball. She also enjoys spending time watching her oldest son Cameron, play football and lacrosse. Mrs. Rednak is a Penn State Fan- Go Lions!, and a Ravens fan! 
 
Mrs. Rednak is a 2013 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, where she received her degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She also graduated in 2018, with a dual master's from Drexel University in Autism and Special Education Law and Processes. More recently, Mrs. Rednak completed York College's Master Teacher Certification Program. She is looking to constantly learn new ideas and techniques that she can bring back to the classroom. Mrs. Rednak taught six years, at a private non-residential school for children with special needs, then taught for a short time at York City before teaching here in 2018. 
 
In addition to teaching Emotional Support, Mrs. Rednak is involved in helping with intramural basketball at the junior high, P.R.I.D.E ( our school wide positive behavioral support system) and Special Education Department Lead. 
 
Mrs. Rednak enjoys getting to know the students that she not only works with, but all the students throughout the building in order to create and establish a relationship with all students she has the opportunity to work with!
