Matthew Knauer 8th Grade Learning Support Teacher

Mr. Knauer was born in Baltimore, MD. He has lived in Felton his whole life. He is a graduate of York Catholic High School where he lettered in football and baseball. He Graduated from Shippensburg University in 2023 where he also played collegiate football. Mr. Knauer is now seeking to get his masters degree in Special Education from Wilson College in Chambersburg Pennsylvania. 

 

Mr. Knauer is an avid beach goer along with frequent trips to his families lake house at Lake Wallenpaupack. He enjoys working out, fishing, hunting and golfing when he is not on vacation throughout the summer. He enjoys to be outdoors as much as he can throughout the year.

 

As a teaching professional Mr. Knauer is taking multiple courses over his first years of teaching to become as successful in the classroom as posssible.He is a tremendous supporter of using technology in the classroom along with the use of having hands on activities for the students. Mr. Knauer will always advocate for his students to make them the most successful form of themselves that they can be.

 

Along with beng and 8th Grade learning Support Teacher, he also continues his love of sports by coaching 8th grade football, wrestling and track and field.
