A Little About Ms. Henze
Tracy Henze is the writing teacher on Team 7O. She was born and raised in York County. Ms. Henze grew up in Dover and graduated from Dover Area High School in 1993. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Millersville University in 1997 and earned a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University. To begin her teaching career, she accepted a job at Smith Middle School in the School District of the City of York. For the two years she worked there, Ms. Henze taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. During her second year, she had the incredible experience of taking part in a teacher's exchange to Puerto Rico. For six weeks, a small group of teachers from the district traveled around Puerto Rico visiting schools and learning the culture of this fabulous island.
Since 1999, Ms. Henze has been a teacher at the Red Lion Junior High. She loves teaching seventh graders and hopes to do this for the rest of her career. She is excited to work with all 7O students this year!
