About Mrs. McGurk

Mrs. McGurk started teaching seventh grade ELA at Red Lion Area Jr. High in 2008. She has lived in the area her whole life.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education at York College, and she received her Master's Degree at McDaniel College in Secondary English Education.  Mrs. McGurk is married and has two children, Lucy and Gavin. Her kids keep her pretty busy with Lucy's horseback riding and piano lessons, and Gavin's karate and basketball practice. She loves to read and is always looking for good book recommendations!
