Teacher Biography

Mrs. Ruth has been teaching 8th-grade art at the Red Lion Area Junior High School since the 2011-2012 school year. She graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in art education and has a Masters in Middle-Level Education through Wilkes University, as well as a Masters in Art Education from Art of Education University.

Outside of school, Mrs. Ruth enjoys reading, going on adventures with her family, snuggling with her dog and miniature donkeys, painting, and beading. 

8th-grade art is a course designed to help students increase their creative thinking skills through working with several types of art forms such as drawing, ceramics, crafts, and more. It is a 45-day class that rotates with Health, Leadership, and Tech Ed.
