Principal 
Mr. Shane Mack 
 
Bio
Dr. Mack serves as the Red Lion Area Junior High Principal. Originally from Ithaca, NY, Dr. Mack earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Maryland at College Park and his Ed.D. from Immaculata University.
 
Prior to becoming a principal at Red Lion Area School District, Dr. Mack was an administrator at Manheim Central Middle School, Manheim Central High School, and Hershey High School. In the classroom, he taught both high school and middle school history in Prince George’s County (MD), Solanco School District (PA), Ithaca (NY), Manheim Central (PA) and Hershey High School (PA).  Dr. Mack took a pit stop mid-way through his career and spent four years coaching college wrestling at the University of North Carolina Greensboro and the University of Maryland before returning to public education.
 
Dr. Mack loves college sports, shark fishing at the beach, and traveling with his family.
 
Assistant Principal 
Mr. Chris Barry
 
Bio
Mr. Barry holds an Assistant Principal position at both the Red Lion Area Junior High School and the Senior High School. He graduated from Millersville University in December of 2012 with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. He continued his education and received his Master's degree in Educational Leadership with a K-12 Principal certification. Mr. Barry has been with the Red Lion Area School District for six years. Prior to administration, Mr. Barry was a learning support teacher and technology facilitator at the junior high school. Mr. Barry has been a presenter at district professional development as well state and international conferences surrounding technology. Mr. Barry has trained a service dog (Vale) who works with children with disabilities and lives at his home; he is 6 years old. A new parent, Mr. Barry has a 3-year-old son named Henry, who was born on Halloween. In his spare time, Mr. Barry enjoys playing ice hockey, going out to eat with his family, and watching movies.
