Gifted Support at the Junior High

At the Junior High, the students will be able to attend seminar sessions during their ROAR period. During this time, we will rotate through different enrichment activities. The activities will include STEM projects, practice in logical and critical thinking skills, philosophical debate, experimental inquiry, book discussions, Socratic Seminars, and many other topics depending on student interest.

This year, students will also be allowed to choose an area of interest and create their own learning path to explore it! Each student will submit a topic based on an area of interest to him or her. They will also create a research plan that they will have an opportunity to carry out during seminar/ROAR periods or on their own time. Finally, each student will choose a method to present and prove their learning to myself and their peers.
